Dead console.
Fixed this weekend.

HDMI port repair and micro-soldering for PS5, Xbox & Switch across Crawley & West Sussex

HDMI ports are what we're known for — the board-level soldering that brings a dead console back to life, the kind most shops send away. We come to your door at the weekend, get it fixed on the bench in the van parked right outside, and you have the console back the same visit.

Questions

Things people ask before they book.

Do you really come to me?

Yes — that's the whole idea. The van is fitted out as a workshop, with a lit bench, a microscope and hot air, so the repair happens outside your door rather than in a shop across town. Call-out is free in Crawley and Horley, and a flat £10 or £20 in the towns around them. You see the charge before you give us a single detail.

How much does a console repair cost?

Between £45 and £130, depending on the machine and the job, and every device page lists the exact price per model — an HDMI port is £90 on the PS5, £110 on the PS5 Slim, £130 on the PS5 Pro. The price you see is the price for the job as described. If we open it up and find the damage is more extensive, we tell you the new price before we go any further. If you'd rather not go ahead at that point, we put the console back together as it was and you don't pay for the repair. If we can't fix it, you don't pay for the repair.

My console overheats or switches itself off mid-game. Can you fix that?

Yes, and it's one of the commonest jobs we do. A console that gets hot, shuts down part way through a game or sounds like it's taking off is nearly always clogged with dust, with thermal paste that has dried out. We strip it right down, clear every vent, clean the fan and heatsink and fit fresh paste. £50 to £70 on its own depending on the console, or £20 alongside another repair.

How long does a repair take?

Most jobs, including HDMI port replacements, are finished in the one visit while you get on with your day. If a machine turns out to need longer on the bench we say so there and then, take it with us, and you know when it's coming back.

Which consoles do you repair?

PlayStation 5 and 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, every Nintendo Switch including the OLED, Lite and Switch 2, and Joy-Con and Pro Controllers. HDMI ports, disc drives, stick drift, screens, charge ports and overheating fixes (a full strip-down clean) are the everyday jobs.

How quickly can you come out?

We ring back usually within the hour, and always within 24 hours to agree a slot. We work Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. If it's urgent, ringing 07448 435702 is quicker than booking online.

Is the repair guaranteed?

Yes — 90 days on the work we did and the parts we fitted. If the same fault comes back in that time we come back and put it right at no charge.

Ready when you are

Let's get it working again.

Five screens to book, four stages to fix. No sign-up, nothing to pay up front, and a real price band before you commit to anything — we ring you before it's booked in.
